Educational Technology and Copyright Law

I've learned that as soon as you draw or take a picture of something it instantly becomes copyright. It is your work and no one is allowed to steal it. Copyright is a United States federal law that protects original work. For educational purposes students and teachers are allowed to use your work. For example a student is allowed to include your work in their project. Giving credit to the person's work that you are taking is a big thing. In some cases you don't have to give credit but in most cases you do have to give credit. It is the right thing to give the work you are using credit. Claiming the work that is not yours to be yours can get you in a lot of trouble.
